H. truncata - 'tenuis'
The common name for H. truncata is
perdetande or 'horse's teeth'.
This specimen was grown from seed, ex David Clarke - Croydon,
sown 27/01/1991.
By 1998 there were 4 narrow leaved heads, total diam 7cm, leaf tip 1.5cm x 0.5cm.

By 2004 there were tall leaves with clear white
markings on windowed tips.

By 2004 had made a good plant with intricate white

On 08/01/2005 several leaves were taken off to
root.

'magnifica'
Received from Hiroshi Kobayashi, Japan on 19/05/1991.
Very short leaves, nicely scalloped and veined.
By 1998 it had
become 9 leaved, with the windowed leaf-tip 3.1cm x 0.9cm.
By
02/2003 it had begun to offset.
